BOARD OF GOVERNORS INTRODUCTION

The mission of Building for God Community Foundation (BFGCF) is to affect a positive and determined impact in our local community in the areas of sheltering the homeless, feeding and caring for families, fostering the educational needs of our youth, and supporting those who protect our community. To be successful, we rely heavily on the dedicated members of our Board of Governors (BOG) who volunteer their time, working in conjunction with the Foundation’s executive team to provide mission-based leadership and strategic governance to the Foundation.

Individuals with the desire to serve their community and improve the lives of others are encouraged to consider joining our board after gaining a full understanding of the position, responsibilities, and expectations.

Board Member Qualifications

They should be strong communicators who possess experiential wisdom and are capable of engaging with our partners to promote growth and success.

Every member brings their unique talents to the table and is willing to be a resource for others.
