Hit The Green Every Time with The Perseverando Society!

What a day on the course! The 15th Annual Community Cup Golf Invitational went off without a hitch – beautiful weather, great competition from all golfers, and the generosity of sponsors and donors was truly the greatest blessing.

The Community Cup Golf Invitational is one of two annual fundraisers hosted by Building for God Community Foundation (BFGCF). Since 2007, proceeds from this fun-filled event have helped support local charitable organizations with a shared mission of caring for those in need. At this year’s event, we were thrilled to have representatives from four of our wonderful Champion in Life organizations join us; sharing all of the wonderful things their organizations do for those in need inspires us all, and their testimony serves as a great reminder of the impact BFGCF is making.

Mr. Ray Brooks, father of our founder and chairman, Michael Brooks, and husband of the late Paula Brooks, who inspired the creation of The Perseverando Society, had the distinct honor of leading everyone in prayer and speaking of the history and meaning behind The Perseverando Society, which recognizes the generosity of the Foundation’s greatest supporters. Its members are not defined by how much they give, but by their dedication.

The 15th hole had a dedicated meaning on the course, as golfers were able to further learn about the significance and impact of The Perseverando Society, the membership arm of BFGCF.

One of the greatest ways you can help our local community is by becoming a member of The Perseverando Society. There has never been a better time to join! Enrolling is easy, and we make it simple for members by giving them the choice of having their recurring gifts contributed either monthly, quarterly, or yearly! The commitment from members of The Perseverando Society helps to support our Champions in Life, and provides the funds needed for our grant award recipients through the members’ recurring financial gifts. Help us persevere in our efforts to support those in need by becoming a part of something special.
